- Mr. Purohit works towards developing bilateral relationship between India and Canada. He is the person instrumental for the participation and attendance of the Canadian Business Delegation and Delegation of Canadian Politicians in the "Vibrant Gujarat" Investor's summit. The participation commenced in January 2009 and continues till date.

- Director - Panorama India. Panorama India was established with the support of Consulate General of India as a non-profit umbrella organization with a goal to help unite all Indo-Canadian cultural associations and groups in GTA , Toronto,
